Eco-friendly & Premium Products

HOW ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE?

We use state-of-the-art printing equipment with the newest technologies from companies who care about sustainable fashion to improve the efficiency of the printing process and deliver the finest quality at your doorstep.

HOW ARE THE PRINT DESIGNS CREATED?

We currently do our work on mobile powerhouses to stay flexible and use BenQ 27" IPS monitors (100% sRGB Pantone Validated and Verified by CalMAN) for creating or adding designs to our store. The extended screen real estate and color gamut accuracy adheres to industry standards in digital & print production—which is essential for greater productivity and highly benificial to design, check or prepare our printfiles.

WHO CAN DELIVER MORE ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCTS - TRADITIONAL SHOPPING CHAINS / FASHION RETAILERS OR PRINT-ON-DEMAND BUSINESSES?

Traditional shopping chains / big fashion retailers produce items to sell, so they’re always manufactured in bulk to save money (in the hope of making more profit). We are more eco-friendly and produce less waste by only making a product when a customer places an order for it, creating items that already have a known buyer.

WHAT TECHNOLOGY IS USED TO PRINT ON T-SHIRTS (AND ANY FABRIC PRODUCT)?

The standard process is the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) method of printing. DTG is a printing method that sprays the ink onto the garment using inject technology. The inks then soak into the fibers of the garment. It’s sort of like printing on paper, except on clothing. Screen printing, on the other hand, doesn't soak into the fabric (like with DTG), it lays on top and pushes the ink through a woven mesh stencil onto fabric. Because we choose for DTG we can print detailed designs and photorealistic images on our products. Pretty awesome, right!?

WHAT ABOUT THE MATERIALS ITSELF? WHICH HAS LESS IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT?

Remember those cheap industry tees you bought online or at a festival? That comes with a hefty price for the environment.

Our sweatshop-free facilities are eco-friendly and certified through W.R.A.P. ↗ (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), the independent watchdog organization for ensuring fair manufacturing. This means that we operate in a safe, responsible, and ethical way to reduce their environmental impact and treat every one of the employees with dignity and respect. Learn more about our main USA Strong ↗ apparel supplier Bella+Canvas ↗, and how they are different by making durable, eco-friendly products.

HOW DURABLE ARE OUR DTG PRINTED SHIRTS AND IS IT ECO-FRIENDLY?

The industry are geared towards creating products in bulk and uses a lot of wastewater in the manufacturing process. This makes a big impact on our beautiful planet because it's harmful for the environment plus there’s a high chance of overproduction. And in case the products don’t get sold, it ends up in landfills or gets burned (85% of all textiles ↗ is dumped), contributing to pollution. Learn more about fashion industry pollution ↗ & the fashion market is predicted to rise ↗, and watch the video below to understand how print-on-demand helps to solve that problem.

Because sustainable fashion and being eco-friendly is the new norm, we go for the highest quality standard for our products and print our designs on them using high-quality ink. The ink we use for apparel products is 100% water-based, CPSIA compliant and Oeko-Tex™ certified. The ink is also non-toxic, non-hazardous, and free from heavy metals, formaldehyde, and Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APE) to adhere to the strictest human health and environmental safety standards. The designs that are printed on our products are applied by Kornit printers ↗ and are considered the best in the industry. Kornit printers produce zero wastewater ↗ and use less energy, lowering the carbon footprint.

More noteworthy reasons why we choose for DTG printing can be found below:

  • Cost-effective & scaling: Screen printing requires upfront investment and more time to get the designs print-ready. DTG allows our businesses to stay flexible, operate more efficiently and scale up as soon as demand rises.
  • Color advantage: Screen printing is best for businesses offering simple graphics (ideally with one solid color). DTG printing is faster and there are virtually no limits on the number of colors we can use. This makes DTG a more sustainable choice for all those colorful designs that we offer.
  • Washing durability: Our experience shows us that DTG printed shirts are just as durable as screen printed shirts when it comes to washability.
